There's a checkmark action in the scheduled and usage based tabs on the deal invoice schedule. Clicking it gives this confirmation
Marking an invoice as sent:
- does not actually send it
- does not sync the invoice with your accounting software
There are at least a couple of reasons you might want to do this:
- You're entering legacy data to get a more complete revenue schedule and the invoice was already sent (potentially a long time ago), so you don't want it getting duplicated in your accounting software. In this case, you might also consider importing the old invoices and associating them with deals.
- You're using accounting software that doesn't have an integration with TrueRev. Please, let us know, so we can add that integration to our product roadmap!
